Family discount
Families of more than 3 students: Full tuition for first 3 students, $45 for each additional student.
Refunds
All registrations will include a $45 non-refundable deposit. The final balance is due on the first day of camp, although you have the option to pay in full at registration. In the event that full payment has been made and a student needs to withdraw, the rest of the payment will be refunded until July 7. After this date, 1/2 of the refundable balance will be refunded. Contact us with any questions.
Referral discount
If a family refers a new student, both they and the new student will receive a 10% off discount on one registration each. In order to have the discount reflected in their final balance, students can pay just the deposit when registering, and make a note of who referred them. We will email an adjusted final balance to reflect the discount.
Viola scholarship
OCMS string camp is always looking for more viola players to fill out quartets and orchestra sections. We offer a scholarship for violin players at the Gamma and Delta levels who are willing to play viola. To qualify, you must participate in both a chamber ensemble and an orchestra as a viola player. Students who choose this option are offered a $50 reduction off the regular tuition. For those who don’t have a viola, violas are available to borrow on a first-come first-serve basis. Please feel free to contact us with questions or inquiries about the scholarship before registering.
Tax deduction
Since the Orion Chamber Music Society is a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible organization, your student's tuition can be tax-deductible if paid by someone who is not an immediate family member (i. e. this would exclude parents, siblings). In order for this to apply, simply have them make out the check to Orion Chamber Music Society and indicate what student the check is covering. Contact us with any questions.
