GAMMA/DELTA
ABOUT
The Gamma and Delta levels offer intermediate and advanced students the opportunity to grow and be challenged in their orchestral abilities. The repertoire is selected from standard classical pieces for string orchestra, and is sent out to camp participants several weeks in advance. A strong emphasis is placed on participation in string quartets, with coaching from faculty members and opportunities to play in a masterclass setting. Included are devotions, aural skills classes, choir, and other sessions for a complete musical experience. Auditions are required for seating placement.

Below are examples/excerpts of music previously played by the Gamma and Delta orchestras (individually and combined). Camp faculty select a variety of repertoire for the orchestras, including sacred pieces. Repertoire may be easier or more challenging than these examples, but this is an average difficulty level to help parents and teachers in determining which level is best for their student. Please email us if you have any specific questions.
