Rachelle started playing violin at the age of seven while her family lived in Quebec, Canada. The summer before her 7th grade year, her family moved back to the States. Rachelle then started taking lessons from Kay Thomas, her violin teacher from 7th to 12th grade. In college she studied English Education instead of pursuing a degree in music. She then received an M.S. in Biblical Counseling. After college, Rachelle spent several years in Africa, teaching missionary children in Cameroon, West Africa, and working at an orphanage in Tanzania, East Africa. God led her back to the States in July 2020, where she now teaches 7th-9th grade English at Inter-City Baptist High School in Allen Park, MI. She continues to be involved in music through her church's orchestra.
