Laurie Campau has taught in the fine arts department at Waterbrook Christian Academy since 2015. She is an accomplished pianist, vocalist and instrumentalist. Laurie has an strong musical background filled with several awards and accomplishments including two trips to Europe as a violinist/violist in the Flint Youth Symphony Orchestra. She won the prestigious Dort Honors String Quartet scholarship as a violist her senior year at the Flint Institute of Music. She has been a private music instructor for 15+ years and loves working with students of all ages. Most recently, she became a member of the Troy Metro Symphony Orchestra. She has been the worship director and pianist for her home church in Fenton since 2016 and has a passion for leading the worship team. Laurie and her husband Brent have been married for 12 years and are blessed with five children. Her love for her family and her love for Christ are reflected in the way she lives and serves at her church and school.
