Chantelle Frazier is a violin and viola teacher at Upbeat Music Academy in Midland and is looking forward to joining the Suzuki Music Studio of Mt. Pleasant. A registered teacher with the Suzuki Association of the Americas, she holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Olivet College. Her background includes studies at MSU under Walter Verdehr, I-Fu Wang, and Lyman Bodman, as well as performing with the MSU Symphony under Leon Gregorian. Chantelle is a former member of the Battle Creek Symphony and currently performs with the Midland Community Orchestra.
With decades of experience, some of her teaching includes; conductor for the Homeschool Music Association, private lessons at the Christ-Centered Homeschool Co-op, Blue Lake Suzuki camp and Lansing Public Schools.
Chantelle enjoys serving in her church orchestra and spending time with her three grandchildren. She is grateful to be serving her first year at OCMS string camp.
